Scarf Art Newsletter “Sacrificial May”

Scarf Art Newsletter “Sacrificial May”

Sacrifice is giving up something valuable, whether material possessions, time, or even one’s life, for a greater purpose or to benefits others.  It’s a deliberate act of selflessness, often involving some form of loss or hardship, but ultimately driven by a desire to achieve a higher good. The month of May is FUUUUUUUULL of celebrations dedicated to those near & far who’ve sacrificed for us, our Mothers &The United States Military personnel at all levels, past & present.  In addition, this month millions of students across the country are celebrating the ultimate goal of graduation after years of sacrifice by studying, etc. at all levels of education. Therefore, we’ve titled this month’s newsletter, “Sacrificial May.”    Most of us are preparing to acknowledge, honor and celebrate 2025 Graduates, Mothers on Mother’s Day, May 11th and Veterans on Memorial Day, May 26st.  When it comes to Mother’s Day, there’s a million & one ways to express your gratitude to your Mother.  We’ve narrowed down some practical “Mother’s Day Must Haves” to cover the basics in acknowledging, honoring and celebrating your Mother on Mother’s Day.  Check them out below…

In addition to honoring & acknowledging Military personnel with parades, formal ceremonies, etc., Memorial Day is also known as the official kickoff of the FIRST BARBEQUE holiday of the year.  Frequently, our freedoms, rights and privileges as Americans are taken for granted and lost in the barbequing. Memorial Day is the time to reflect & remember the United States is truly “The Home of The Free Because of The Brave.”  Thank God for the United States Military, WOOOHOOOOOO!

Graduations are in many instances a collective celebration, benefitting both the parent & graduating student……..or just the student, depending on age, etc. Most parents are beyond elated to see their kids reach a new level of achievement and self-sufficiency. Most graduates are ready to conquer the world in pursuit of their dreams and aspirations.  Sooner or later, they will discover learning is a life long journey that doesn’t end with a commencement ceremony.
