For the Love of Love, HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY! Today we celebrate all things LOOOOOOOOOVE, especially romantic LOVE with a spouse, fiancée or significant other. However, Valentine’s Day is also celebrated amongst classmates, friends, co-workers, etc. across the world. Other than Mother’s Day, more flowers will be purchased & delivered today than any other holiday. In addition to flowers, there are four (4) other gifts that are in the “Top 5” for Valentine’s Day, check them out below. For the love of love, history, culture, etc., we’ve titled this month’s newsletter, “For Love February.” Love is one of our strongest motivators. True love is not candy coated, it includes all things good, bad and ugly….committed, sacrificial, giving, receiving, supporting, uplifting, attentiveness, time…THAT’S LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE!
February is the shortest month of the year, but so very full of celebrations. This is also “Heart Health Month” don’t forget to get your heart checked out, men & women. Heart disease is the number one cause of death amongst women. February is Black History Month, we’re celebrating self-love, community, culture and history. Our focus this Black History Month is the love that motivated Nicole Avant and Tyler Perry to create the movie, “6888th.” There were SOOOOO many major celebrities who contributed to the success of this movie we could only focus on a few. Some you know, some you may not know… If you have not seen the movie, great movie to see this Valentine’s Day weekend.
