Happy 50th Anniversary Hip Hop!
Can you believe Hip Hop has been around 50 years? It started in New York City by young black men and quickly spread all over the world, not just the United States. These days you can find original rap in EVERY language. Over the course of 50 years, the list of Hip Hop Artist who’ve made and are making Black History is too vast, therefore, we’ve selected a few “Old School” Rappers. Old School Rappers who were Masterminds at mixing Rhythm + Wisdom. Like the rap song, “New York, New York big city of dreams, but everything in New York ain’t always what it seems, too much, too many people, too much.” Just one of many Rhythm + Wisdom classic rap songs.
These men and women are truly an inspiration to dreamers, having created an entire new genre of music we’ve come to know as “Hip Hop.” Not to mention the incredible blind faith they possessed & executed to bring their dreams to past, AMAAAAAAZING! These Old School Rappers whose enviable uber successful careers span 30-40 years have transitioned from Rappers to successful Actors, Producers, Executive Producers and Entrepreneurs, etc.
CONGRATULATIONS Hip Hop,
Happy 50th Anniversary!
