My Breast Cancer Survivor Testimony by R. Scott

“In Jan. 2020 I was diagnosed with Triple Negative Invasive Ductal Breast Cancer, which is an aggressive form of Breast Cancer. During my regular Annual exam with my Doctor, something didn’t feel right to her (I didn’t even notice) God used her, and we did the biopsy, which came back positive.

 

That wasn’t the news I was expecting to hear. It was a shock, no one in my family has ever had cancer, I said. After sharing the news with my Husband and shedding a few tears, I said ok God you’re up to something.  The years of telling others to “Trust God” I had to take my own advice.  God gave me Jeremiah 29:11.

I knew I had to stay positive about this. We meet with the Doctor’s and Specialist and they informed us, for this type of cancer, this is the treatments recommended. I didn’t want to go through all that was said. I keep telling myself God I know you’re a Miracle worker. But I stayed positive and kept trusting God every step of the way and everyday asking Him for His strength, and He gave me this Scripture,  Isaiah 43:2-3.

 

I started my treatments in Feb. 2020 and finished everything in Nov. 2020.  1 step at a time 1 day at a time, good days, bad days, Trusting, Praying, and crying, but depending on God. I’m Grateful to God for the support team He Blessed me with.  Family, friends and Co-workers that were right there with me on that journey. God was truly in control of this, because I was going through that in the heart of Covid. I didn’t miss not 1 treatment, the only thing was my Husband couldn’t come in with me, but he took me to every treatment. I stand today by the Grace of God cancer free even the Doctor’s are Amazed. They say, you are lucky, I say no “God is Good” He gave me Ephesians.3:20.”
