Ms. Opal Lee, the 95 year old “Grandmother of Juneteenth” is truly an inspiration to us all. Her dream to have Juneteenth become a National, Federally recognized holiday has come to past and she’s (thankfully) still here to witness and celebrate the full manifestation of her dream. Therefore, we’re elated to share Juneteenth Celebrations across America! To have two major holidays occur on the SAME day is also historical, those being Father’s Day & Juneteenth on Sunday, June 19th. However, he official Federal Holiday for Juneteenth 2022 is Monday, June 20th.

 

In addition, June is also Black Music Month! A month to honor the contributions & accomplishments of African-American Creatives in the Music Industry. Music is truly a universal language which has allowed each of us to created our own personal soundtrack. As well, music is an integral & essential part of every celebration from weddings to funerals. Every special celebration has a special song attached to it.
